Excellent upgrade to my van
I bought this because it does 3 things I need in one unit. Dashcam, Satnav and music playback to my existing van stereo (van stereo has no Bluetooth).The Atoto P8 works straight out of the box and the mounting arm is very good quality with such a great suction mount that has stayed in place perfectly so far and doesn’t rattle or bounce around even when operating the screen. The dash cam option works flawlessly and records to my Micro SD card without glitch. At the same time as Dashcam recording, I’m free to use the CarPlay functions without issue so the Satnav and music or podcast playback are both running smoothly at the same time as Dashcam recording.I play back the music into my Aux input on the van stereo and after a bit of tweaking levels I have as good as CD quality playback of audio.The best thing is the screen quality. There’s no reflections, can be bright enough or dim enough depending on the time of day, and touch response is instantaneous. The remote control is excellent too with rotating volume control and instant access to displaying the camera feeds to help with parking.For around £200, this is a real game-changing device for my van and I’m so happy with it. I’ll be upgrading and ordering another camera so I have reverse parking and the front facing dash cam (which both get recorded all the time).Excellent product, very happy… Customer service is great as well (I got int touch to ask about the camera upgrade). Very quick response.

Transformed my Motorhome.
Brought this for my Motorhome without much thought for the dash cam and rear cam. Installation was easy and the core functionality is excellent Iâm an AppleCar user so thatâs all I can comment on. I connect via Bluetooth and my Nav instructions, Music and radio (I use Broadcast app) work brilliantly.The rear camera has completely transformed the reversing in my Motorhome, the manufacturer of the MH had installed a rear camera that was terrible with limited viewing angle as it was fixed looking down. I installed the rear camera just above the number plate and itâs fantastic I can now reverse with complete confidence. The dash cam works well too. I needed to contact Atoto support for some accessories that would enable me to hard wire the unit into my vehicleâs 12v supply and they were very responsive and have supplied the necessary leads etc from China. All in all I highly recommend this if you need Apple CarPlay and would benefit from a dashcam and rear camera.

Excellent little unit.
This is on initial review based on an initial quick temporary installation. I haven’t installed the rear camera and I’ve only had a quick look at the front camera image on screen. I’ll update the review and add some photos once I’ve finished.The unit boots up very fast, connecting my OnePlus 8 Pro was very quick and easy with Android Auto appearing very quickly..The screen is fabulous, very bright and clear with a brilliant anti glare finish which seems pretty resistant to finger prints.The only issue I’ve had so far was I saw in a YouTube review where the boot logo could be changed. The menu option was missing on my unit. I found a weird suggestion of setting the units date and time to 01/08/2008 01:08 24H which actually worked and let me change the logo to match my Mazda Campervan.Overall I’m delighted with my purchase.

Good product, but Pathetic rearview camera at night
The rearview camera hardly captures any details during night. In case of any collision/accident at night from the rear, you just cannot use the footage, as it hardly captures any details and in a well lit area, video is recorded with minimum details are captured.The rest of the functionality and ease of use is highly appreciated

Really pleased with this purchase. Arrived on time and was well packaged. I fitted it to my 2008 peugeotand it works really well. The instuctions are ok but there are some really good videos on Youtube whichwere a great help. Cameras are very good quality. Amazing actually. This is such a better option thanreplacing the old head unit. Really is plug and play. Ok you have to run the cables around the car to thecameras but it really was’nt that difficult. Display is really good . Hands free phone and music from , in mycase youtube . five stars all day long.

Best thing that I ever had
Just incredible, the display is bright even in sunny days.I use to had another one in my car from china ( no brand) , but atato is way superior, my old unit I could not see the screen in sunny days, Atoto p8 have no problem whatsoever.Everything looks premium even the box.I really recommend this standalone radio, the rear camera also is cristal clear even in dark places.My vw up had a massive update after install it, Iâm so happy.

Surprise #1 – my unit came with a small 8? pin connector rather than the big white socket shown on Youtube reviews. Much easier to hide the wires and make the whole install easy and very clean looking. Minimum exposed wiring. See photo.Surprise #2 – This appears to be a quality unit for the price. Very bright, tons of settings and very customizable.Surprise #3 – The sound on Sirius XM is awesome. As good as the Sat Radio in my other vehicle.Things to be aware of – it takes the unit a few seconds to boot up so be patient. Also there is a bit of a learning curve to get the most out of this infotainment system. I’m still figuring out how to set up the handsfree phone properly. I suspect some of the short comings are CarPlay related (Siri voice commands don’t seem to work with Sirius XM) and not due to the Atoto.It replaced the backup camera screen, GPS screen and Echo Auto dongle and all associated exposed wiring in my 2006 Titan into one awesome looking screen. Suggested improvements – 1) the wire from the back of the unit and the back up camera lead are only about 6″ long. If they were longer (12 to 18″) it would make the install even easier to hide the wire connectors. 2) the backup camera mount is not very adaptable. If you have anything other than a horizontal surface to mount it to you are out of luck. I had to order a 3rd party license plate adaptor. BTW the B/U camera picture is as good as any factory one I’ve seen.The steering wheel control is just icing on the cake. Atoto has done an excellent job of providing a complete infotainment solution and for a very reasonable price. Over all I am very happy with this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend.Atoto P8 UpdateAfter my first review I discovered an issue with the Atoto P8 I received. The hands free phone function was not working properly. I could hear the other party fine but they could not hear me.Atoto Customer Service was excellent and offered several possible fixes. However as they are in China and Iâm in Canada it was a cumbersome process with 24 hours between emails. This process took several days. Once all their suggested fixes were exhausted they sent me a replacement unit immediately.The replacement unit fixed about 90 % of the problem. Hands free conversations are now possible but the conversation from my side is still not crystal clear and garbled at times. It may not be a an Atoto problem but a cell signal issue.My priorities when buying this unit were;1. Clear back up camera (hooking up trailers to my truck)2. Replace standalone GPS3. Apple Car Play and resulting apps and voice activated functions4. Hands Free phoneI rate items 1 through 3, as 10 out of 10.#4, only a 7 out of 10.Atoto Customer Service, 10 out of 10.I think you may be disappointed with this unit if you carry on a lot of phone conversations while driving. Although my problem could still be something other than the P8 I guess. Everything else works great.I have it plugged into a socket that is only energized when the key is on. It takes about 10 seconds to boot up and for the B/U camera to be functional. Logging on to CarPlay takes another few seconds. I’m still happy with my purchase.

Ich habe für meinen Scoda Citigo eine Möglichkeit gesucht das Infotainment moderner zu machen. Da dieses Fahrzeug nur ein 1 DIN Einbau hat suchte ich nach einer Alternative. Diese fand ich in dem ATOTO P8 Portable. Es bietet mehr als die andere vergleichbare Produkte und der Preis ist auch attraktiv.Vorab schon, ich bin begeistert von der Qualität und dem Support vom Hersteller.Folgende Option zu bietet das System:- 7 Zoll HD OLED Display, welches sehr gut ablesbar ist und eine automatische Helligkeitsreglung über eine Fotozelle. Das Display ist wirklich klasse und sehr gut ablesbar- Kabelloses CarPlay und kabelloses sowie Kabelgebundenes Android Auto- HD Rückfahrkamera aus Metall, mit allen erforderlichen Einbaumaterialien. Die Ãbertragung erfolgt Digital und wird über den am Gerät befindlichen USB Port eingelesen und mit Spannung versorgt. Dadurch ist eine störungsfreie Ãbertragung möglich und am Fahrzeug muss nur noch ein Kabel an das Kabel des Rückfahrscheinwerfer angeschlossen werden. Das Bild ist sehr gut und deutlich besser als die meisten angebotenen Kameras, auch gegenüber original Einbauten.- Sehr gut durchdachtes Einbaukonzept mit vielen nützlichen Details. So z.B. dünne runde Kabelstecker die sich einfach in der A-Tafel verlegen lassen- Zu dem Zubehör gehört auch eine kabellose Fernbedienung, mit der die wichtigsten Funktionen vom Lenkrad aus sicher bedient werden können.- Die Aufnahme des Displays ist eine Standard 17 mm Kugel. Ich konnte somit einen Halter welcher an die original Einbauposition passt verwenden. Mit den versteckt in der Armaturentafel verlegten Kabel sieht es professionell aus wie ein Einbau ab Werk und wertet das Fahrzeug deutlich auf- Viel nützliches Montagezubehör wie Kabelbinder, Schrauben, Klipse und ähnliches- Schnelladefähiger USB Port- Frontkamera mit der Möglichkeit Videos und Bilder auf einer SD Karte zu speichernDas Gerät funktioniert bisher sehr gut und ich denke dass es für den Preis nichts besseres auf dem Markt gibt.

Das Gerät entspricht genau meinen Erwartungen. Prima. Vor allem finde ich’s Klasse, dass sich endlich mal jemand Gedanken bezüglich der Ordnung der benötigten Kabel gemacht hat. Ein Kabel geht zum Steckernetzteil und das wars. Alle weiteren Anschlüsse, inkl. eines Schnellladers für’s Handy, findet man an diesem Steckernetzteil. Einzige Ausnahme: Die Kameras werden direkt am Monitor angeschlossen. Aber auch diese werden in einen USB-Winkelstecker zusammengefasst. Auch Prima.Letztendlich möchte ich aber auch den Support positiv erwähnen. Nachfragen per Mail wurden umgehend beantwortet – trotz Zeitverschiebung. Eine Dame (Fannie) hat mir promt und super nett geantwortet. Da bekommt man gleich ‘ne gute Laune :-)Also meine Empfehlung hat die Firma ATOTO mit dem Modell P807PR ððð und dem Kundendienst ððð.
