Excellent value building set
I love these sets and think they are superb value for money for what your getting here.Inside is all the parts in separate bags and a decent manual for walking you through building the different models, these are well illustrated and was easy to set it up.The good part here is you can dismantle and build up to 5 models, so you get a lot of time building in this or at least have the choice of what model to go for and I think that’s a great idea.You also get some motorization with wheels that lets you control the model by driving around on it with a cheap simple control pad, does require 2AA’s which are not included but this works really well and enjoyed playing with it.The app on the phone is also food fun, while controlling is not as great, I’ve never enjoyed phone controllers I like the tactile buttons, but playing with path mode and such is a joy, plotting and we made a wee game to who could control it to a point using it, was good fun.Quality wise, it’s all good and I think good value for money, really happy to recommend this one.

Good kit, remote control like car, not flying
This AKWME Technic Robot Building Toys set is good, providing enough parts to build any of the 5 models, just 1 at a time. It comes nicely presented in a branded box so ideal for gifting. Inside the parts are in sealed bags, together with a comprehensive illustrated instructions booklet – some 98 pages long. Loosely based on Lego Technics where parts are built together with some building block type fixings. The small remote control requires 2 x AA batteries (not supplied) and a small cross head screwdriver to access the battery compartment. The corresponding control unit is built into a model to drive the wheels – only 1 unit and 1 remote control is supplied.It is a remote controlled vehicle rather than aeroplane, so it all about ground control. Overall it is good. We have not downloaded the app yet to try it with the planes. Priced at £29.99 at the time of this reviewGood for aeroplane mad enthusiasts, frustrating only one model at a time – be good to have at least 2 functional together
