cute and fun building set
Perfect kit for an afternoon of fun. This set isnt too complex or too easy to assemble and its size makes it a perfect activity that wont take too long or sit unfinished on your coffee table for a month. Very fun!

Some fun with the sun, along with a few flaws
This is a good set to build with kids, especially as there are a few issues that may frustrate younger builders. To start, the instructions are not as clear as they could be, leading to potential errors particularly regarding piece color. Also, the mechanical rotation mechanism can be somewhat touchy and adult guidance in getting everything properly aligned will go a long way in getting a successful final result. That being said, this is a fun way to show how the sun, moon and earth interact and provides a hands on way to help explain things like eclipses and the seasons. Highly recommended if you are there to give younger builders a hand.

I wish I could give it a higher score
I am really quite fond of the idea and the image of the final product, but it may not make it. While the bags are numbered, they are for internal processing ONLY, there are no Sub-Assembly bags like the major company provides, and the steps to build are largely clear enough, but the coloring of the pieces in the illustrations is questionable, brown is so dark so as to be difficult to tell from dark gray or black and the dark clear gray is similar. There is at least one missing piece that is holding up my constructions and I am reading that some of the steps are flipped or backward and one may even be unnecessary or counterproductive. Unless one has a stockpile of parts and can interpret some of this material instinctively (some builders are at that level) I would NOT recommend this, but even IF you are are at that level you may be better served by the ON-BRAND version, which I understand is larger and has the benefit of MUCH better quality control. Ultimately with some time research and patience, all the problems I’ve encountered are fixable, but they shouldn’t be there.

Missing parts in Original package and wrong replacement product.
Missed some parts. Hence, requested replacement product and was delivered a wrong product. Hence, returned both original and replacement. Waiting for money.

This is a fun little set that is pretty quick to put together. Easy to assemble and good instructions. Plus is a fun one to put on display after completed.

a fun build
What a good time the twins and dad had with this build. At least there wasn’t the usual “There’s nothing to do” mantra. But then I shouldn’t say that because I find things for them when they go that route.Everyone was excited to see this Lego distant cousin show up. Today was the day it would become the Earth, Moon, and Sun. Of course not forgetting the little space shuttle.It comes with 501 pieces and decent instructions. There wasn’t a whole lot of new words being said. It did take the whole afternoon and into the evening, but it did get built in a day. And what a sight it was.T To bad the camera was at my sisters.I would absolutely recommend this set.

It looks good and functions properly, but the Earth sphere is fairly inaccurate
The Bags are all numbered 1 so you do have to open all of them at once.The instructions are a standard manual and most of the instructions are easy to follow.Cranking the handle does move each section in proper planetary rotation.The depiction of Earth has several differences to the real one such as: no Antarctica, the North pole having a several separate landmasses, and North and South America are completely separated. As this is a STEM build an accurate Earth should be important.
