Needs a few tweaks
In the first experiment, the nut is a little too heavy. It will work but needs to be very close to the magnet. Use a paper clip instead. The string is too silky and the knot unties too easily. Use cotton instead.
In the second experiment, change the order of instructions, positioning the magnets prior to applying the sticker to the pencil. If you place the sticker near the end, it will get ripped when you slide the magnet on. If this happens, use a permanent marker instead and draw a spiral down the pencil.
Otherwise, I guess itâs a fair price. I put it together for my 5 year old granddaughter who is very bright and loved it. She wanted to know all about magnetic fields and steel compared to iron etc. We will do the other experiments when she comes next week for her 6th birthday.

An excellent kit to explore magnetism
I’m quite picky with science kits for my kids the majority out there are plastic tat that aims to have more packaging than exploratory stuff. This is NOT the case here. It’s a simple set of magnets and frames with good easy to follow instructions. The experiments are nicely throughout and easy to assemble. 7 projects using the same kit and can be left out to look at and play with when assembled. It kept my 8yr old well entertained on his birthday and 2 weeks later he still comes back to play with it.

Great to let children learn whilst playing about magnetics and gravity.

Disappointed on the packaging
Felt disappointed after high expectations on the product. It is used for a Christmas present. But it arrived with damaged packaging and pre-opened sealing.

My 5 year old loved it!
I got this for my 5 year old to explore as he is quite science minded and he loved it. Could set up most of it alone and only required just a little help that allowed us to explore together. Very happy with it.
