Does make yeah think!
This is a good puzzle book. It keeps you thinking, which energizes your brain. There are a few puzzles that I have had to look up/research for the answer because I did not know the answer, which I like because that means I am learning something new. It is good to keep the mind working and thinking to keep sharp and knowledgeable.

Wonderful for family Trivia Night
Another great set of brain games and trivia. Great for the whole family, to use with your Spouse or alone. Great variety. Everyone should use these to keep yourself sharp and able to converse with a variety of people. You can learn a lot and go out of your comfort zone. Love it!

Enjoy fun, meaningful, multi-generational family holidays
Great book for my elderly parents. Younger family members are often tongue-tied, and even uncomfortable about awkward, seemingly forced, social engagements, with older relatives. This year has been especially sad for my age 93+ parents, because their previously, hidden symptoms of dementia had recently been exposed to their grandchildren, and suddenly revealed in a way that instigated a desire for avoidance from both age groups, due to unnecessary embarrassment and fear of rejection on the part of the elderly, and the dread of a long, dull, evening filled with reticent, forced, meaningless conversation that lacked any true open connection or intimacy on the part of the youth. However, I introduced this book during an otherwise dull, segregated family get-together, and the results were overwhelmingly delightful. The exercises were not only interesting, but were also surprisingly fun for both age groups. It was remarkable how the two generations dropped their seemingly narrow-minded biases, opened up and had a marvelous time together. They really enjoyed themselves. How silly their previous sentiments seemed! On another positive note, along with the positive feelings of joy that always seem to accompany a positive social interaction, with fun and laughter, where true intimacy was achieved, the exercises in this book, have so far been seemingly effective in blessing my elderly parents with the gift of hope, that perhaps they might be able to preserve, and continue to enjoy their remaining mental faculties for the remainder of their lives. I have no plans to return this book. In fact, I am thinking of ordering another copy.

Just the right amount of challenge.
There are so many categories and they are so well done that it is a fun book to go through. I have friends who call and have me read some of the questions over the phone just for entertainment. Best of the best in my opinion with quality paper and stimulating questions for all levels. The companion volume is just as good.

Perfect and so much fun!
I bought this to occupy my sister after surgery. She loved it and we even did some of the book together as a family on Easter. It adds to your knowledge, while being interesting and entertaining.

Lots of challenging games and puzzles. I especially like the word games.

I brought it for my Brother in law for Christmas. He is a very keen puzzler, he likes doing word puzzles and quizzes.

While this is an interesting book its puzzles are too biassed towards American knowledge. We are expected to know USA state capitals, baseball teams and US terms and phrases. I see what the author is trying to achieve, but if we do not know what he is referring to, we cannot answer the questions even if we are mentally alert!
