Fun build. Minor issues. One missing piece.
My family enjoys brick lego-like builds. This was cute, and I thought my kids would get into it. Turns out they weren’t interested, so my husband and I built it instead. I did the majority of the work, and my husband snuck in and did a few steps for the bag 3 section.These pieces are 75% of standard Lego bricks, which meant they were pretty easy to pick up and work with without resulting in a gigantic construction, though the final result is still pretty large. The pieces are organized into bags by step, and the project is broken into 4 steps accordingly with multiple bags per step. The instructions mention a bag 0 that contains backup pieces. I did not have said bag, but most pieces had backups anyway. The one piece that was missing had similar-looking pieces with backups, so I just used one of those. Similarly, the step 4 bags were short on yellow flower pieces, but a prior step’s bag had extra yellow flower pieces, so I just used the previous step’s extra piece.The instructions are, for the most part, clear and easy to follow. I ran into some trouble at times, but this never hit the frustration levels that encourage throwing of the construction. They do have you assemble two short chains from plastic pieces at one point, but it’s feasible enough if you have some needlenose pliers on hand.The kit does come with a small led strand to light it up, but the instructions don’t mention it, so I left it off mine.The build is pretty stable for moving it around once finished, and it’s very cute. Most pieces grip very well, though I did add some glue to keep the tall mushrooms together.Overall, I’m pleased and enjoyed the experience.

The set is cute but very difficult to put together because the blocks do not clip together well like Legos do.

Mini Brick Tree House!!
My daughter absolutely loves these sets she is so good with directions and building she has an eye and patience for it. If you love to build Lego I definitely recommend this set the directions are easy to follow, but the only caution I have is they are mini bricks so they are very similar to Lego but on a smaller scale the treehouse is a really good size though so its perfect and she absolutely loves it and I’ve absolutely loved watching it come together.

Mini size pieces, good manual, lot of cute details, nice design lines
This delightful tree house is made of mini size pieces, which are 3/4 the size of standard size. The finished model is 10.7″ high and 9.2″ wide. The interior of the tree house has furniture and there is a fireplace. The little animals include a kitty, two bunnies, a squirrel and two birds. The birds have a house and so does the kitty, but I think the kitty will spend her time sunning herself on the porch or sleeping indoors on the sofa. The garden has carrots growing – guess who will eat them. The water pieces in the front and the back of the tree house are a pretty transparent blue color.The manual is impressive, with 95 pages of large colorful illustrations and steps that are easy to follow. The pieces are organized in numbered bags that are used in number order. There is a supplement bag of extra parts numbered “0”.The sturdy product box has beautiful watercolor artwork surrounding a photo of the tree house model. The entire set would make a wonderful gift.The manufacturer rates the difficulty level of the set as four out of five. With 1,877 parts, many of them small, this set is probably best for older kids and adults who have the patience, attention span and manual dexterity for a large mini block build.This charming tree house is an excellent product, and I recommend it.Helpful hints: I have a few useful things in my mini (and micro) block toolkit. I use 5″ x 5″ x 2″ clear plastic boxes with lids for sorting and storing parts during a build. These boxes make parts easier to find, keep parts safe, and make it convenient to put away my set between building sessions. I like to work on a baking pan/cookie sheet with raised edges to keep parts off the floor. If I ever have loose pieces, I use B-7000 craft glue with the needle nozzle tip to put tiny dots of glue where needed. I use a metal nail file (rarely needed) to shave the pegs on parts that are too snug.
