Features of Akira Matcha by Matcha Konomi
Organic matcha green tea powder. With proper whisking, there is no need to sift Akira matcha In advance. No additives.Ceremonial grade.Product of Uji city in the Kyoto prefecture of Japan.
Strict farming and processing techniques
Shade grown for three weeks
Shading prior to harvest will block the majority of sun light. This is a traditional step in creating matcha with a direct impact on flavor and quality.
Carefully selected leaves
This matcha is made from delicate first harvest leaves from the top of the tea plants.
Slowly stone ground
After removing the stems and veins, tencha will be carefully ground to matcha by stone mills. The grinding process is slow enough to avoid creating excessive heat that could affect the quality of the powder.
Fresh matcha year-round
Semi-processed leaves are stored in temperature controlled units. Those leaves will be processed and ground to matcha in small batches, as needed, which allows for freshly ground matcha through out the year.

Rich, vibrant, and deliciousâAkira Organic Matcha is my go-to for the perfect green tea latte!
I canât say enough good things about the Akira Organic Premium Ceremonial Grade Matcha! ð± This matcha is truly a standout product and has quickly become my go-to for making green tea lattes. The quality is impeccableâitâs made from high-grade ceremonial matcha, which you can tell immediately from the vibrant, rich green color and the smooth, earthy aroma when you open the container. When I make my lattes, the flavor is perfectly balanced: rich, creamy, and packed with that signature umami taste that premium matcha is known for. It blends beautifully, whether I whisk it traditionally or use it in my milk frother. The result is always a latte that tastes indulgent and feels energizing, all while being a healthier alternative to other drinks.I also love that itâs 100% organic and free from fillers, sugar, or preservatives. Knowing itâs sourced directly from Uji, Kyoto, adds to my confidence in the productâs authenticity and freshness. The meticulous care that goes into shade-growing and stone-grinding the tea leaves really shines through in the flavor and texture. This matcha is an absolute delight, whether youâre a seasoned matcha enthusiast or just starting your journey into matcha. If youâre looking for a high-quality, authentic ceremonial-grade matcha, Akira is definitely the one to try. I highly recommend it and will continue to purchase it again and again! ð¥°

Pure and Delightful – A Must-Try Matcha!
I recently tried this certified filler-free matcha tea and I must say, itâs a genuine gem for tea lovers! After doing thorough research on the ingredients, I was pleased to find that this matcha stands true to its promise of purity, with no fillers whatsoever. The taste is fantasticârich and vibrant, just how quality matcha should be. It has a smooth texture that blends beautifully, whether you enjoy it whisked in hot water or as a part of a creamy matcha latte. My daughter, who is also quite selective about her matcha, tried it and was equally impressed by its superior taste. For anyone looking to enjoy the authentic flavor of matcha, this product is definitely worth trying. Not only does it offer health benefits, but it also brings the genuine matcha experience right to your cup. Highly recommended!

Delicious Matcha!
I have ordered one of the 1 oz. tins, and three of the 3.5 oz. bags, and this is my go-to matcha. I have used the bags to refill the 1 oz. tin, as I find it easier to scoop the powder out of the tin. The color is a beautiful, vibrant green. The flavor is great — earthy but not too bitter. Unlike other brands that I have tried, this one also mixes up really smoothly. The powder doesn’t clump when water is added, and it easily reincorporates if left to settle. I enjoy drinking this plain, in lattes, and in matcha tonics. It’s a delicious tasting matcha from a solid source!

Highest quality
I have tried many different brands and grades of matcha over the last 10 years. Matcha Konami – Akira is the best I’ve ever had. It is always fresh and vibrant and subtle in flavor. I normally order direct from Konami but I had a gift card. Worth every penny, if not, more.

The best!
Delicious and the best ceremonial grade matcha I found on amazon. Its a very fine powder with a stunning green color.

Pretty good matcha
I have been drinking matcha at home for about 3 years and have tried many expensive brands plus the low quality store brands. This matcha has a nice bright green color, mellow taste, and is great for everyday latte drinking. The price point is average for the amount of matcha and the quality is good. I just ordered my third tin.

Pretty good matcha!
I bought this matcha because the company provided a report of their 3rd party lead and radiation testing, as well as it being certified organic. Overall, the quality is very good. The color is a rich, vibrant green and the grind is so fine that you honestly don’t even need to sift. I prepared it both hot and iced, and preferred it iced. It has a mellow flavor, more umami than sweet. Ultimately, I prefer other brands like Naoki, but this is a solid choice if you’re new to matcha or taste-testing to develop your palate!

Great Matcha
This matcha was good. Iâm always a little nervous buying matcha off Amazon but this one surprised me. It is a good green color and not clumpy. It has a nutty taste. It is not bitter or too astringent. I think itâs a good everyday matcha. I would buy it again because the price is pretty good. It wonât break the bank too much compared to the 40 dollar matcha powders on here. In the picture I used about 2 grams of matcha powder. 🙂
