Delicious Tea At A Great Price
I love coffee, but decided to switch my daily caffeine boost from coffee to green tea to lower my caffeine consumption and gain various health benefits. Dropping coffee cold turkey gave me headaches. This tea is very good, consistently flavored and fresh. I keep a Teaze loose leaf steeping mug on my desk with an electric kettle and add one teaspoon of the Gunpowder green tea to start. With each brew I either continue to steep the existing leaves a second or third time or I add another teaspoon to the mix. I drink about 1.5 liters of this throughout an entire work day, always feel energized but not jittery, and now I can go a day without any caffeine and feel no ill effects. This also lasts me a lot longer than a bag of coffee used to, so I am saving money. Highly recommend!

Nothing beats fresh brewed tea
In an effort to live a more healthy lifestyle, I quit drinking soda and other pre-made drinks. Now, I brew a big pot of this tea and refrigerate that. This tea tastes delicious. It’s much cheaper and healthier to drink. I use a recipe… 3 tablespoons of green tea, 2 teaspoons mint leaves make a 2 liter batch of tea. I don’t add anything else but the water. Tastes great and no calories or buzzard chemicals.

Subpar quality with no flavor
I bought 4 different brands of gunpowder green tea to do a comparison test. This one was the cheapest at $18.99 for a 16oz bag.The quality of the tea is subpar. It’s not rolled into tight balls like the tea is supposed to be. It’s just dried leaves. The color is a very light as compared to an expected darker green.The flavor is non-existent, which is the most important part. I’ve made two cups on different days and both times I poor it out because of the lack of flavor.I do not recommend this tea brand. If you enjoy gunpowder green there are other brands available with better flavor profiles. While they will be more expensive, you get what you pay for.
