A good quality cup of teaâearthy and aromatic
I have a little experience with sencha teas, and this powder makes a good quality cup. Definitely follow the directions provided on the package. The powder smells lovely and a little goes a long way. Itâs a strong brew. The number of cups they say you can get out of this package seems high, but I believe them. The tea is aromatic and earthy. It tastes almost like a mushroom tea. It benefits from a touch of honey, as I found it to be slightly bitter.

smooth, light, mild, similar to matcha in nutrition, but less caffeine
Wow, this is very smooth. Produces a very light, mild, easy taste. Less intense than matcha by far. Yet similar appearance, preparation, and mouth feel. Less caffeine, so not as much pep, but that will depend on how much you use.Super silky powder, bright green, smells so nice and fresh. This is sencha powder (from sencha tea leaves), whereas matcha is produced from tencha tea leaves. I have always “liked” matcha for the way it makes me feel and all the health benefits, however never been fond of flavor. Not my thing, but POWDER is the whole leaf and stem, which allows for greater benefit, and we usually only see this as matcha (literally means powder). When it comes to sencha, I have only seen it in loose leaf form. Overall I would rather take in more of the tea leaf via POWDER rather than just steeping as I want more of the nutritional goodies consuming the majority of the bush entails.Long way of saying that I had no idea that sencha could be had in powder form., and I really like it for its extra gentle flavor. So try this if you want a less caffeinated but equally nutritious green tea powder. As with matcha, it is best to whisk (or hand froth) to dissolve. May need some swirling when left to sit.As with matcha, a little goes a long way. Just 1-2 tsp

Surprisingly strong.
I’ve never used a tea powder before so this was a new experience for me. Luckily directions are included and easy to follow recommendations. It was surprisingly more savory in taste than what I am used to with the green teas I have experienced. I am not sure if this is because this is a powder or the tea that was used. In either case, I really enjoyed this and might have to explore more tea powder based teas.

Great taste
I recently tried this organic Sencha Green Tea Powder, and I think itâs really great! The quality of this matcha is evident from the first sip. It has a rich, smooth flavor and a great taste. I can truly appreciate the freshness and purity of the whole leaf powder. With 75g per package, this matcha powder provides 100 servings, as it only needs 0.75g (about 3/4 teaspoon) per cup to create a perfectly balanced brew, making it an excellent value. It blends effortlessly into both hot and cold water, creating a vibrant green tea thatâs not only delicious but also packed with antioxidants for a health boost. I absolutely love it!

Tastes better than it looks
As you can see from the pictures when itâs mixed up, this green tea powder mix looks almost like a light green paint. However, it does have a decent green tea flavor with kind of a Matcha vibe to it.It also took mere seconds to make it, so canât knock the convenience of it, and the pouches are portable.Flavor wise, it is not exactly like the tea you would get at a chinese restaurant but its not too far off.

Great Sencha powder
If you love to drink green tea, you’re probably going to love this one! It seems like a small amount, but itâs worth it because there are about 100 servings per package. The instructions are to put 1/4 heaping tsp in 6 – 12 oz of 140 degree hot or cold water. I made mine with 8 oz of hot water because I didn’t want it too strong. Usually, green tea starts off bitter for me and I have to wait until the taste mellows out. But with this sencha, there wasnât’ the strong bitter taste I usually encounter. It was mild and smooth. I read that sencha powder has a coarser texture to it than matcha, but from my amateur perspective, I couldn’t detect any grittiness. I would definitely recommend.

Pricey but absolutely worth it
Yes, it’s expensive, but honestly, it’s worth every penny. The texture is silky smooth, and the flavor is incredibly refined, milder and more balanced than matcha, yet still rich with that signature grassy depth. If you’re a green tea lover, this is a noticeable upgrade. It mixes well, whether hot or cold, and delivers a truly premium experience. Compared to regular matcha, this feels like a more delicate and sophisticated take. Definitely one of the best Sencha powders Iâve tried!
