Refreshing Matcha in a small can
I purchase this matcha after a friend of mine recommended it. When received I was surprised itâs a tiny can. Upon trying it for the first time, itâs not as bitter as others I tried before. I added a small spoon in a tea cup with hot water mixing with the spoon ( I donât have a whisk ) but it does the job, afterwards I added ice to my drink to make it cold itâs really refreshing especially on a hot day. I plan to make this daily and put in my water jug for my day out.

Already saved so much money making matcha milk tea at home
This powder is great. I use 1 tsp of matcha powder for a 12oz cup of milk tea. I weighed 1 tsp of powder with a food scale and it was almost exactly 1g, so each tin makes about 30x milk teas. When you consider that each of those drinks would probably run me at least $7 apiece at a tea shop, you can see how quickly this would pay for itself! The best part of making my milk tea at home is that I can use lactose-free Fairlife milk, which not only is easier on my stomach but also has significantly more protein. I was using a mesh strainer with the matcha powder when I first got it but quickly realized that this step is unnecessary if you use an electric whisk to mix up the tea concentrate.

Iâve been enjoying Matcha for over a decade and make a sport out of finding good quality affordable ceremonial matcha so I took a stab at this matcha but I was highly disappointed. The quality and taste are not satisfactory. The taste is that of a herbal green tea than that of a high quality matcha. Iâve included photos to compare the quality of this matcha to a high quality matcha in the white ceramic cup. The saddest part is the item is not returnable. I wonât be purchasing this in the future.

Taste is decent and price is really good, but I didnât realize it was made in China. I prefer to buy matcha made in Japan. Because of that I wouldnât buy this again, but if youâre on a budget itâs not bad.

This is a really good matcha. Not bitter in the slightest even though I probably use water that’s too hot. I usually whisk it with just a little water to a saucy consistency to prevent clumps and some of the cheaper matchas will have a hard time getting totally smooth but this stuff mixes easily with no clumps all the way to the bottom of the mug. I love the little tin, so much easier to use and store than the kind that come in pouches.Overall, this matcha makes a really great cup of tea!

I do like the size of this ceremonial grade matcha, it’s a little larger than what I normally get at tea stores so I appreciate that value for this. I like that it is also organic and no preservatives and comes directly from local farms which is awesome. Flavor is not too bitter thankfully as I have a big sweet tooth, but I’ll also use a little sugar with this and mix it in with my latte when I feel like it. You can also use it for cooking such as matcha cookies and other things so the amount in the tin is pretty good, and you also don’t need a lot of it so it should last a decent amount of time if you don’t use it everyday. My tin did come a little dented but I guess it’s not always avoidable, but if you’re gifting this, maybe get an exchange or something if it happens to you. Good taste, depending on how you like to make your matcha and decent caffeine boost too.
