I don’t think I could get away with writing or saying this based on my title and getting away with it. So this does suck well. It’s got a micro-switch on the inside of the rubber seal that would attach to the window to smooth surface.It attached to the glass without any issue, but due to the incline and angle, this wouldn’t be practical, so placed this on the dashboard and it stuck on well.It’s basically got a mini vacuum pump on the inside that sucks all the air out whilst the rubber lip seals up, and this starts up as soon as the little switch is depressed upon contact of the unit onto the surface and will auto-stop once all the air has been ejected, or it’s maxed out.Just for fun, I tested this on my living room wallpaper that’s been painted. It stuck on for around 2 mins until the air started to leak naturally due to it being wallpaper. As soon as it started to fall back, the micro-switch kicked in and the pump fired back up and it vacuumed back onto the wall and that’s with my 6.5″ handset attached on with magsafe.This is a non-charging unit, but wish I had the opportunity to review the charging model as would have been able to provide the charging rate, but can’tI’ve not had any issues on this, but if you are interested in getting this, check the surface in your car. If it’s smooth, great, but if its a textured surface, then there will be chances that it may not vacuum properly.

Works really well, nice strong attachment to the windscreen. Phone attaches well, and very stable. Only slight criticism is the angle, when attaching iPhones 16 pro max, the screen in portrait mode angles down making viewing of map, a little restricted. But it managed to perform all other needs well. Magnet strength very good, even for a large phone. I do not have the charging one, but thats fine. I only got it for our trip abroad so i can use maps. I Eventually returned it, as i could not get a comfortable angle on the windscreen. So in landscape mode, i had to keep bending my neck to see the map. Shame as the idea was good, just poor angle on the head.

All’inizio uno pensa: cos’è sta roba… sottovuoto?Poi scopri che è una ventosa con una ventola che risucchia l’aria senza sforzo.Il meccanismo è semplice, c’è un pulsante che quando premuto attiva il risucchio.Fin qui tutto a posto, si attacca ovunque ci sia una superficie liscia. Il meccanismo di risucchio si ricarica con una porta USB e il magnete magsafe ha un’altra presa USB per caricare lo smartphone.È pensato per l’auto ma io lo uso a casa, avendo un monitor con un bordo grande ma tutto di vetro, quindi liscio, l’ho attaccato all’angolo del monitor in modo da tenerci lo smartphone e liberare lo spazio per la scrivania. Devo dire che è molto utile e posso anche ricaricare lo smartphone quasi nascondendo completamente i fili, potendolo collegare alla USB del monitor.Ho riscontrato un potenziale problema che non mi aspettavo. Dopo un certo tempo (es. una giornata), il risucchio si attiva da solo, come se perdesse aderenza e quindi avesse la necessità di riprendere la pressione interna, oppure come se volesse controllare se la pressione interna è a posto. Questo mi fa pensare che un giorno in cui la batteria si rovina questo dispositivo non serivrà più. In realtà in genere le ventose dopo un certo tempo si rovinano comunque, perché il silicone non dura in eterno, quindi è da vedere quanto sarà la durata. Spero tanto da dimenticarmi di aggiornare questa recensione.

Prodotto davvero innovativo: appena lo appoggi su una superficie liscia (vetro o mattonella), entra in azione il mini motore che crea il vuoto e lo fissa in modo incredibilmente stabile. Ho provato sia sul parabrezza sia sul cruscotto (fortunatamente abbastanza liscio), non si muove di un millimetro, neanche con buche o frenate brusche.L’anello MagSafe tiene il telefono ancorato in modo saldo, così posso guardare le mappe senza timore che voli via. È piccolino, quindi non dà fastidio alla visuale, e posso regolarne l’angolo grazie allo snodo integrato (anche se non proprio liberamente, servirebbe un braccio più lungo mentre è solo una testa a sfera). Il cavo USB-C serve solo per caricare la batteria del motore, ma dopo una decina di giorni è ancora carico e funzionante.Unico difetto? Il motore fa un fastidioso rumore ogni tanto, quando magari sente che la presa viene un po’ meno, e – se utilizzato in casa – di notte può far spaventare nel silenzio assoluto. Io per fortuna ho deciso di tenerlo in auto e questo non è un grosso problema.In sostanza, un prodotto ingegnoso, con una tenuta mai vista prima! Consigliatissimo per chi vuole un supporto originale e super affidabile.
