Unbelievable spec for the price
Easy enough to set up.Download the Septekon app from the Apple Store for iOS or Playstore for Android.Make an account on the app. Add your WiFi code that you plan to use to it.Just plug the camera in then scan the QR code that comes with the cameras within the instructions on the front of the camera lens.Itâll recognise it and let you know with a voice command. Then itâll pair with your WiFi within a couple of minutes.Once paired, go to your app on your iOS or Android device.The camera(s) should appear. Chose the one you want.Great quality picture. You can use the app to rotate the camera 360 and up or down. So cool!I just inserted a micro SD card, so it records onto that.You can use the playback function if you need to.Itâll recognise movement etc and you can get it to alert you on your phone if it detects movement.You can talk two way through them. Make a siren noise etc.if you want it to connect to Alexa it has a Sepekon skill you can add. Alexa will recognise the devices.Some people have said they canât get it to connect but I just asked Alexa to show the camera on TV and up the picture came.To be honest canât see why Iâd need that.I also installed it on my fire tablet and it works fine on that as well.Canât comment on the longevity of it .I did get an email from Septekon and had a few questions which they answered in minutes.Iâve already recommended them to a friend.I use them for checking on my cats.

Clear image
The camera is quite compact and fits almost anywhere. I found it easy to set up but you will need a smart phone to scan the QR code. It worked well both day and night and you can speak through the camera. You can move the camera via your smart phone to focus on areas of interest. I was able to set up 2 cameras with no difficulty. Worked well for monitoring my pet while I was on holiday. Suited my budget also.

Peace of mind while I’m not home. Camera works really well and responds well even when I’m thousands of miles away. Great images directly to my phone and it picks up the slightest of movement but I can mute the notification when necessary.Good 360° rotation and I can save my preferred positions to change the views.

Fab little camera
I chose this little dome camera based on Amazon customer reviews. I like that it is a neat little thing and for the price I can’t fault it. Setting up is straightforward and you can add additional cameras. I have my camera set up using a SD card and pointing out over the garden and during the daytime the picture is sharp and clear. At night, pointing the camera into the room, the night vision is good, still clear, but looking out across the garden the reflection from the window affects the picture, which might be less of an issue if I set the camera further back, away from the glass, though I’ve only held the camera away, not fully tested this. Using a SD card, you get 10 second videos of motion triggers, which is sufficient for my needs; there is a subscription service if you need longer videos. The app is easy enough to navigate. I got an e-mail after a few days to check how I was getting on with the camera; I replied with a few questions, all of which were responded to with patience and clarity. The after-sales customer service has been outstanding, something too often lacking these days. For the money, the support in place and for what I need the camera to do, I’m pleased with my purchase and I’m about to order another one.
