The best £6 I’ve ever spent !
My cats are totally mesmerised, money well spent for my house bound cats (just moved, keeping them indoors great distraction , 3 weeks in & no sign of boredom!

Too flimsy
My kitty found this toy very entertaining after initially being a bit cautious of it. Unfortunately my kitty plays very hard on her toys and within the first day she had already bent the wire on the first butterfly my husband straightened it but within 15 minutes she had bent it again so it wasnt flying as it was going around in circles on the floor. The next day he replaced the butterfly with the spare one you get and she did the same again after straightening it a couple of times it could not be fixed. It is a shame because she loved the toy itself and as soon as I got it out of the cupboard she chased after me to get to it . The wires are just a little too flimsy once the kitten/cat has jumped on it to the floor it bends the wire. A good toy to entertain tho if it could be made a little stronger. Also at one stage she caught the butterfly and ran off with it in her mouth taking the whole thing with her, it was funny to see but obviously not practical.

Was sceptical but this is a great toy
I have a pretty shy BSH kitten and she has been extremely fussy with toys. Seems to prefer shoes and shoe laces over the usual cat toys – sheâs not fond of any jingly noises either. Desperate to save my furniture, legs and plants from being destroyed by my very bored kitten I have decided to order this as the price was very reasonable. I was very eager try this bad boy out after seeing many good reviews. I popped some batteries in and I set it up.⦠my kitten was not impressed. It was moving and making funny sounds. No thank you. I was pretty disappointed but figured Iâll keep it out and see if she at least starts playing with it when itâs off. Every now and then I would sit next to it and knock the butterfly with my hand to get her interested, she would occasionally sniff it and acknowledge it but not much else. Every now and then I would switch it on just to get her used to the sounds as well. And to my surprise – on day 3 of playing with this thing by myself – she started trying to smack the butterfly as it was flying past. 30 mins later and the video Iâve uploaded is the final result. She is obsessed with it and it has literally been 30 minutes of non stop butterfly catching!I am so happy with this result! This British shorthair kitten of mine has been like the most uninterested stubborn child at the zoo where nothing interest her and Iâve been dancing around like a fairy trying to keep her occupied for weeks. So glad to be able to go for a wee in peace for once whilst she obsessively chases this. I think I will buy another one!

Not for boisterous cats
This does keep my cats entertained for a little while but I found two problems with it. It took a while to unscrew the back plate to put the batteries in and the screwdriver mashed the head of the tiny screw.It was very easy to set up but within 5 minutes of playing my cat had ripped the big butterfly off, then the other one followed about 10 minutes later. Not sure how you could make it a bit more robust though. The mechanism makes a little bit of noise but nothing too annoying.I wont buy another one though when this one breaks.

Cat thinks it’s fun….
Has a lot of play value. Quite a lifelike behaviour when freely rotating or caught by paws.Using three ENELOOP 1.5v rechargeable batteries, a charge lasts a long time.Usually hide the toy after a session to retain some novelty value. The cat will often later clamour for attention until the toy is produced, once we work through the process of elimination to find what she is after.Proves to be safe and resilient in use, even when stalled by a grip of death.

All cats are different. I have 2 young rambunctuous cats that need entertainment. They took to this straightaway and love it. They donât like some of their other toys, so itâs hit and miss. But this keeps them occupied, so it was a good buy.

Sorry I hate to write a bad review but only want to get you it just is not working sometimes it spins and others not Iâve tried loads of batteries please can I have a refun x

Piper absolutely cannot be without this toy. It’s like she lives for it…and the cat dancer. She knows the sound of the flutter and will show up out of hiding for it. If I don’t turn it on she will harass me to. I’m thinking of teaching her to do it herself. This is the third one in 2 years, with daily use for multiple hours. It has a good lifespan. I’ve had to replace the butterflies fairly often, maybe some super glue to hold the plastic together for her need to rip the wings off. They’re cheap enough.

Il io gatto era titubante all’inizio ma poi ha apprezzato.ORA quasi si è stancato ma ci sta.Avrei preferito cambiasse direzione qualche volta la farfalla osi fermasse per poi ripartire, cosi da coinvolgere più micio però è un giochino divertente.

Buen juego interactivo para mis gordetes, tengo 2 gatos de 7 y 5 años y pense que pasarÃan y todo lo contrario, les encanta!!La única pega el ruido que hace el juguete.
