Doesnât connect to the monitor
Unit keeps disconnecting to the monitor every time you switch off the monitor and restart it, it doesnât connect. Very unreliable product especially when it claims to have a good range. Also when the monitor doesnât connect to the camera it makes a very loud beeping noise which can not be turned off until the unit connects to the camera.Itâs a slick product aesthetically but functionally itâs useless- will be returning it and looking for another alternative

Excellent images and convient. Shame about connection to phone.
The camera, sound and night vision are brilliant and I would highly recommend if it wasn’t for the connection issues. I’m now out of pocket whilst having to search for another camera (which is a costly endeavour so I’m gutted to have to have paid out as much as I did for this one!)1. It keeps buffering. Repetitively. Every couple of mins.2. It’ll occasionally lose sound or image for 20seconds at a time, every 2 mins or so.3. If I leave the app to do something else on my phone, it won’t reconnect (as in image). Only way to “try again” is to completely exit app, reopen app, wait for buffering and then connected.4. 5 second delay means we often hear her before the camera indicates.5. We’ve got high speed Internet and no matter what we’ve done to attempt to improve, it transpires it is the camera and not the Internet.Such a shame because such a lovely camera.

Better for toddlers than babies
Whilst this camera technically does the job, it’s doesn’t give the all night monitoring I would like. Fortunately we have only started using this since my toddler has been put in a bed. Whilst you have the app open the video and sound stays on. Once you screen lock your phone the sound will stay playing for a while and then stop. You then get notifications of sound or movement detected. The notifications aren’t enough to wake me up. I wish it played the sound all night long like traditional monitors.

Doesnât always connect to the monitor
I think this is a decent baby monitor; it is easy to set up and initially connected to the monitor straight away.I love that you can just have the monitor, as I was a bit weary of connecting it to wi fi as heard other monitorâs get hacked. But I have anyway and the app is good, albeit a bit slow. I love that you can capture cute moments by recording it.It is an expensive monitor , but I do think it one of the better monitors out there. The only thing I havenât given it 5 stars for is that the monitor doesnât connect to the camera unless you are right next to it, which is a pain as I sometimes leave it in the room I was last in so when I go to turn it on it doesnât automatically connect and it makes a loud beeping noise.

Awful. Avoid.
This monitor was a massive waste of money. It lost connection constantly, and when it does an alarm goes off. Not great when youâve got a sleeping baby! It also freezes all the time and Iâd be looking at the monitor thinking âis he asleep or has it frozen againâ! The image quality is poor too. I canât understand why itâs so expensive. I returned and bought 2K Baby Monitor, 5” WiFi Video Baby Monitor with Camera and Night Vision, App & Screen Control, 3000mAh Battery, Comfort Night Light, Motion & Cry & Noise Detect, PTZ Pan 355° Tilt 90°, Auto Tracking https://amzn.eu/d/cZf0aBx instead.

A good quality camera, the app is OK but had some lovely features to it
The camera comes well packaged and includes the camera, monitor and wall fixings. The cables on both the monitor and camera are very long, which is great if you have sockets behind furniture. As soon as they were powered up they paired together without any configuration and worked instantly. The monitor has a really good, clear picture from the camera. It also displays the room temperature. The camera has a good, wide view that can be moved and controlled by the monitor to go up and down as well as side to side. Very reassuring if you need to to view a different angle without having to move the camera all the time. After starting up the monitor displayed a software update that only took a few minutes to complete. The monitor has lots of settings to it including volume, multi view (if you have more than 1 camera), push to talk and much more.I downloaded the app and connection was simple but very manual. It announces each stage and you have to tick them off on the app as “complete” rather than recognising it itself. The app is a little slow and to move the camera you have to expand the view. It seems to work better on a landscape device (tablet) than portrait (phone). But the image expands and auto rotates to landscape view. You can take snap shots of live view, which are saved to the apps gallery (not the device unless downloaded) and you download any saved recordings. I’m not sure if the camera is saving these to a cloud or onto storage on the device, I haven’t fitted a memory card to it.Extra features of the app is the babies journal. You can record all types of “events” manually including feeding, nappy changes, sleeping, calendar, health, leisure, growth, teething. There is also an analyses feature so you can see an overview of these events recorded over a 7, 14 or 30 day period. You can also play stories and lullabies through the camera and controlled by the app or monitor, which is a sweet extra feature.Overall the camera is good quality, the app could be a bit better configured for phones but it’s easy to get around and the journal is a nice, extra touch.

When it worked it was goodâ¦
Camera and quality was very good when it worked; but the monitor seemed to lose signal and needed to be brought back to the camera to reconnect while beeping loudly every night. This didnât help our child or wife sleep restfully.
