Poor quality check
The extending boom kept slipping because the clamping mechanism, which works like a collet chuck, wouldnât tighten enough to hold it in place. I had to use painterâs tape to improve the grip and keep it stable.I would have returned it, but itâs the only option Iâve found with the low floor profile I need. A shame, as the concept is neat and solves an actual problem I have as a music engineer with mic stands.

Does a good job
I had a mike holder that fitted perfectly onto the top (I assume it is a standard size).Does the job well and is now stacked on top of another microphone stand when not in use. Very Happy with it.

Total waste – the pole doesn’t fit the hole of the baseplate – an unusable product
Total lack of quality control – the only two pieces of the product don’t fit together – clearly nobody did even looked at it.

It’s ok but I’m using it to hold a vocal booth and it just keeps toppling over.

I have bought three of these a couple of years a go and they are still as good as new, so buying two more was no problem as I new the quality that I was getting.
