Dual power supply
Skymee pet feeder can automatically switch to battery power when the power is interrupted at home, so that the feeding plan will proceed as usual. (Single battery * 3 is not incluaded)
Kindly notes:
It is recommended to load the battery with the USB cable energized to ensure that the power can be switched smoothly.After loading the battery (D cell), please turn on the battery switch on the bottom of the feeder.It is recommended to set up a feeding plan after three minutes and unplug the power to check if the feeding plan is working properly.Under battery power, the app cannot operate and view the video, and Skymee food dispenser can only work according to the set feeding schedule until the power is restored.
More details:
Package comes with non-slip silicone contacts and 3 bracket to, which can be replaced as needed.If yours is a kitten, it is recommended to use only silicone contacts to make the footprint smaller.About overfeeding: If there is too much food when feeding, the telescopic door will block the food outlet to prevent food from spilling out of the food bowl. When your pet finishes eating the food in front, the remaining food will automatically fall, and the door will automatically close.
Before connection (Only supports 2.4G WiFi):
Scan QR code and download Skymee App.Load 3 D batteries at the bottom and turn on the switch. (optional)Power on the device using the USB cable.
WIFI connection:
Open the Skymee app and register your app account via email or mobile number.Click Add a device in the top right corner, and click Add automatic feeder.Enter the correct 2.4GWIFI password, and the APP QR code is facing the device camera.
Set up feeding plan after successful connection:
When you hear the the ring “beep”, click Next and wait for the connection to succeed.
Then you can set up the feeding plan(1~8), feeding time(0:00~24:00), portion(1~30), and date(Sat.~Sun.) etc..You can share your account with your family’s mobile phone and watch live video together.You can chat and interact with your pet anytime, anywhere.
Some advices if the WIFI connection fails:
Check wifi: (a) 2.4Ghz wifi.(b) Password does not exceed 16 characters (c) Password is entered correctly.Reset device: use a pin/pen insert the device reset hole for 5 seconds, reset the device.When adding a device to the app, select [smart feeder] instead of wifi feeder.Please use the APP to contact online support.

It’s brilliant
It takes a few tries to connect it and instructions are a bit difficult to follow, but once that’s done, this is a brilliant piece of equipment. Feeds good sized portions (can select how many portions), quality of sound and cam is great and cat has already gotten used to the sound of her feeding time.

It has a few problems.
If you have a 5G network provider, you will not be able to set up the device.Sometimes when you try to view the camera through the app it says offline for no good reason (happens quite often)I just wish on the “events” tab you could see a short recorded video when it detects movement instead of just a picture which is often blury.Works fine overall

I purchased this product out of desperate need to make sure the family dog was being fed appropriately and in healthy portions. He is a large dog so finding a feeder that could accommodate his food requirements was difficult.I came upon this feeder, the only one I could find with a 12 L capacity and larger kibble size. When it arrived, a piece was broken off, but, as it did not effect the functionality, I contacted the company to inform them and continued using the device.It has worked faithfully for me for one and a half years. I had piece of mind knowing our pup was being fed at the proper times, with the addition of being able to see and speak to him through the device.Unfortunately, the mechanism inside has suddenly failed to send food out. I contacted Skymee immediately and they have been exceedingly helpful, offering to send a new feeder out ASAP. They have put my mind at ease. I’ve even ordered a second machine for our cats!

this is a piece of garbage product. cant rely on it to feed your pet or even warn you when it doesnt. it looks cool and the voice and camera tech is cool but if you cant depend on it to feed your pet it is worthless! my pet has lost weight because it just doesnt feed him. stay away!!

I love this product. It is great and works perfectly and has great picture and functionality. I wish it came with a tube or something to protect the power chord though as little puppies live to chew. But l am very happy with this purchase overall.

My machine worked well, I would only use it when we travelled or very occasionally but mine broke after 3 years. The food dispenser doesnât work anymore. It is unfortunate that for that price, it only lasted 3 years.
