Thoroughly Recommend!
I have been looking after someone who has had a hernia operation and needs to wear elastic compression stockings for 4 weeks. I was finding it extremely difficult to put them on and take them off. I was a bit sceptical about buying this device, but it is absolutely amazing and makes the job so easy! Well worth the money and I thoroughly recommend!

A tad difficult to use
It works but it is a little difficult especially with the full length compression stockings.Knee high are fine. After 4 weeks one of the arms snapped making the device useless. Too late to return it.

This genuinely works
I have just had a hip replacement so can’t bend down to my feet and this device is genuinely right for purpose.I found that I could put a compression sock onto the operated or non-operated leg without much difficulty or pain. Also, I have big and wide feet and that has stopped other sock-putter-onners from working but not this one. Some reviewers have said that it takes too much hand strength but it doesn’t take much really. I suspect that those poor people just don’t have the hand strength for compression socks – full stop.A few things to note;- bunch the compression sock up at the TOP of the channel otherwise the resistance to sliding is too great.- also, as I learnt from the video, once you have the sock over your heel, push the device down a little every now and then and pull up again as that helps the sock that is over the channel to feed out onto your leg.I recommend watching the video.I don’t think the plastic casting is particularly strong so treat it with some care and only use the handles for PULLING and don’t try to twist them or push them to the side etc. With care I think it will last ok.All in all I recommend this. It’s expensive for what it is, but it does the job and you only have to buy one. So go for it!

Works as described great product
Ordered this after reviewing many others. There were no reviews on this one and it is priced more than others. I have just had a double heart bypass and have to wear compression stockings. They are a nightmare to get on and off. I used this today for the first time. Worked perfectly once your foot is in the handles work brilliantly and little effort. The only effort is to get the stockings onto the gadget with the provided gloves. These are only useful if you have small hands. I am 6ft 5 with large hands but this is my only gripe. Go ahead and buy it.

Not easy to use with arthritic hands.
Had to be returned. My 86 year old mother couldn’t coordinate to use it, due to arthritis, unfortunately.
