Very compact digital camera for kids which comes with a waterproof case.
Not wishing to be too pedantic, this isnât exactly a waterproof digital camera – it is a digital camera that comes with a clear acrylic waterproof case. But thatâs not a bad thing at all. The waterproof case did fit around the camera with a very tight seal and has little buttons that correspond to the buttons on the camera, so you can take the thing underwater with your and take photos – maybe something fun on your holidays? But, the rest of the time, you can leave the case off and that makes the camera much less bulky, especially for smaller hands.The camera is rechargeable and comes with its USB lead but arrives with charge in it, so if itâs a gift, the kid can use it straight out of the box, which is a nice thing on a birthday or Christmas morning.The LCD screen is bright and quite clear, as you can see in my photos, and you can set the camera to capture still images or videos, which you can view on the LCD screen.The camera also comes with a micro-SD card so itâs possible to transfer the photos to a computer – although there isnât an adapter for the SD card included in the set – youâll have to source that yourself.The set includes a wrist strap and a couple of bags of bus and pieces that look like thereâs some sort of stand to attach the camera to something or have it free-standing but, to be honest, Iâm not quite sure because the instructions booklet doesnât actually tell you what to do with these or how to put them together, which might have been helpful.The instructions for using the camera are fairly clear and all the buttons have icons to help, though actually the user is quite complicated because youâre controlling everything from a few buttons. I think a young child would need a look of support to get anything life full use out of it. But itâs quite a clever little device and a kid could certainly learn quite quickly how to take photos or record videos, they might just need adult help working out how to view, delete or transfer them to a pc.

Case wasn’t waterproof!
This seemed like a great little camera to begin with but one dip in the pool with the waterproof case and that was the end of that!!Case let water in even though sealed and the camera no longer functions!Waste of money!

Great for the Pool
This USHINING Kids Digital Underwater Camera has made my daughters beach days so much more fun for her. She gets to swim around with her camera and take pictures with her friends, or of the sea creatures she deems so interesting. The camera is rotatable at 180degrees, so she can easily take selfies as well! It comes with a lanyard as well which secures it around her neck so she doesn’t lose it while swimming around. Additionally, it comes with helmet and bike brackets, which make it easy to attach during her other fun activities. As the camera is in a waterproof and shockproof case, it’s protected against drops as well, so I’m not too paranoid about her playing with it outside and on the go. She enjoys the build-in frames and filters, as she gets to mess around and try different things. The video quality of 1080P/30fps gives her the opportunity to record high quality videos as well, which she can save on the 32GB memory card which comes with the camera. There are so many things for her to do with this camera, such as games and music, so she has absolutely fallen in love with it. I highly recommend this camera for any child!

It is underwater and can be submerged up to 30 meters.I like that the image quality is good 180P HD videos look clear. It has a 180° rotation and is waterproof. They are 20 megapixels.My niece found it easy to use and she is still figuring out some of the features, she likes that it can be rotated for easier selfies. The shockproof case makes it stronger and more durable.I arrive ready to use with a 32G SD card and its accessories. Good value for money.

Lovely little camera
I am surprised with the great quality of this little camera, itâs sturdy and well made! It looks super cute and comes with lots of accessories, which makes it a perfect gift for adventurous kids. I ordered it for my niece and she absolutely loves it. Pictures quality obviously isnât fantastic, but itâs good enough in my opinion and surprisingly good considering the price. Additional games make it even more interesting for little ones.I do recommend this product, itâs great value for money and will make fantastic gift, hours of fun guaranteed!

Brilliant little camera. My 6 year old can use it easily. The picture quality is brill. The first thing my child tested was if it was waterproof and it absolutely is. It’s a good quality camera, been dropped a few times and still looks good as new. Very durable camera.

nice little underwater camera
this is an introduction for budding film makers of a nature leaning.we’ve seen the whales, dolphins and fish doing what they do whilst being narrated over by david attenborough. so lets give the youngsters a chance.ok so the spec for this camera is really good for a child’s camera. it films in full hd at 30fps and has a 20Mp camera for stills.the camera in its case is drop proof (not tested the claim out yet), and will work up to depths of 30M (manufacturer claim, no one in their right mind would let a child out of their depth let alone be submerged).but, that aside, even as a stills or video camera for use on dry land, this takes a good photo. and there is no need to worry about any cards for storage, as it comes with a 32Gb card as a part of the bundle.over all this is a really nice little camera, and well worth the money (£38.99 atow), even if it only get wet at the local pool.
