It works
Iâve been using these (on and off) for several years and used properly, they really work. This one is still going strong, months after I purchased it. Just a couple of things to be aware of:- donât ever drop it! If you do, youâre likely to crack the âcrystalâ rock itâs made from and itâs just not possible to get it smooth again and then it will be too uncomfortable to apply with jagged edges. The second thing to bear in mind is that you should spend time applying it a lot. A good twenty seconds at least under the armpit! Make sure itâs very damp when applying. It dries quickly though and you will get zero odour on any of your clothing – if applied correctly, it literally kills all odour-producing bacteria on the skin for at least 12 hours, sometimes 24 hours if you havenât got hot. If you get very hot, however, it will start breaking down more quickly and become ineffective. But for a normal day and outside of excessive heat causing you to sweat profusely, it will totally work. Personally, I use an application of talc on top but obviously thatâs not necessary!

Finally I’ve found something that works! Ever since menopause I have experience body odor. I prefer the natural route and have tried many different brands and even returned to conventional deodorants none of which worked for any length of time or they had scents which made me nauseous. I saw a woman chatting online about the gross side of menopause and on the topic of body odor she recommended this Crystal deodorant. I was sceptical having tried other rock salt deodorants but, oh my days, this really works. No smell, not even after a walk in my warm winter coat. It seems that it will last ages but I’m going to order a couple more for fear they will become unavailable in future. You’re welcome!

The potassium salt deodorant is smoother and more bubble-free than the ammonium salt one, and this is made from potassium salt. The other potassium salt one that is popular is Salt of the Earth. Having just smashed a nearly new SotE in the washbasin I’m very pleased that this one, though slightly more expensive, has a case design that makes dropping it much less likely. It’s got a good chunky plastic case, and the top doesn’t roll when you put it down! It’s well thought out.I’ve been using alum deodorants for some years now, and I’ve found no downside to them. The important thing to do is to wet your underarms and not the crystal; otherwise you will get sore.

Ive developed an allergy to limonene which appears to be in every scent + deodorant going (not impressed with my immune system!!) .Anyway – this deodorant looks a bit weird, like it’s plastic. You have to wet it to apply + it has no scent or ‘feeling’ at all, but actually works – it’s literally amazing.

This stuff is incredible, but you HAVE TO USE IT CORRECTLY. I saw a couple reviews about people giving it a 1 star because itâs hard like a rock and wonât âgo onâ your skin like normal deodorant. Thatâs because itâs not. Basically, itâs a hard, smooth, salt rock – thatâs it. It wonât âgo onâ if your skin is dry, so you wet your skin (I have a little travel-sized spray bottle) and then rub it on. I use it in my pits and between/under my boobs – you literally DO NOT SMELL!!! Its great. Sometimes if Iâm doing a lot during the day I need to re-apply, but itâs honestly so nice not to smell bad while not worrying about all the chemicals in regular deodorant. Side note: this just kills the bacterial that makes the stink, it DOES NOT STOP YOU FROM SWEATING. If thatâs what you need, go buy antiperspirant.

This is indeed a stick that’s made from a mineral so you need a bit of water to run it on your skin. The odor is then gone for 1-2 days. You still sweat of course, but there is no smell.

Habe diesen Stick nun schon fast ein Jahr und trotz fast täglicher Benutzung noch nicht komplett aufgebraucht. Das Auftragen ist unkompliziert, einmal kurz angefeuchtet und schon kann man eine Schicht auftragen. Rückstände an der Kleidung hatte ich bisher noch nicht und auch die Schicht fühlt sich nicht unangenehm an. Den einzigen negativen Punkt den ich anmerken möchte, ist die Tatsache, dass der Plastik-Stick nach einiger Zeit kaputt gegangen ist.
