Very impressive and easy to install.
This is my first ever dash cam! So was a bit apprehensive as to if it would be difficult to do, but I’m glad to say I found it pretty straight forward. I’d had some info off a work colleague regarding installing as he’s had a few as he’s a petrol head, his cars are his pride and joy, always parks away from other vehicles at supermarkets etc. Give me some pointers I wouldn’t have thought of like allowing for the dirty part of window (bit your wipers don’t reach) when mounting your camera back and front, so ensures the camera will be on an always clean part of the window. It connected to wi-fi right away, something my colleague said isn’t always the case. He also mentioned that it wasn’t interfering with my Dab radio, something he’s had problems with with other makes. I like the snooper function that records movement around your vehicle automatically and the auto record should your vehicle be hit whilst it’s parked. The batteries in the these dash cams are apparently not very good so my friend will be fitting a hard wire kit so the camera is always live and won’t be relying on the tiny battery these have. I’m very very happy with this and how the installation went, the hardest part was hiding the wires underneath my car’s trim. Very happy with dash cam, all it’s functions and the installation process.

Capturing a Clear Record of Your Travels
First important thing to be aware of with this front and rear camera set, is that you will need to run cabling inside your car in order to connect both cameras to one another. This cable is included, and there are some configurations for fitting the cable to be found in the included manual. Attaching both cameras appears to be permanent, so if you feel conscious of leaving a visible camera in your vehicle while youâre not driving it, this wonât be the device for you.The camera starts recording as soon as you turn on the vehicle, and you have a certain amount of control over how frequently you want footage to be recorded. The front cameraâs microphone is turned on as standard, but you have the option to disable it. Audio recording quality is very clear with no additional background or camera mechanical noises, unless you press one of the cameraâs buttons during recording. The video recording quality is also very good, with a slight fish eye view to capture a wider area. Videos are embedded with date and time as well as vehicle speed and location, though when I tried recording, the built-in GPS wouldnât detect my location at the time.There is no memory card included, so that will need to be purchased separately as the camera will not operate without it. The supports SDHC Class 10 and up memory cards to a maximum of 32GB.Overall this is good value for money. My main complaint is that the manual didnât explain everything about the camera in as much detail as would have been useful, so figuring out some features takes a little trial and error.

Useful front and rear dash cam set
This Front and Rear Dash Cam set from Snooper is a useful and functional product though some of the technology feels a little dated in 2022. The kit contains a front and rear cam, 2 mounts for the front Camera, instruction manual and the required collection leads for both cameras.Installation was relatively easy, though I don’t understand why vehicle dash cams still need to be hard wired considering the advancement of batteries in recent years. The 1080p Front Camera can be mounted either by the suction mount for your windscreen or a sticky mount to be mounted where required. The front cam is powered from the 12v receptacle (cigarette lighter) to mini USB lead. The rear dash cam (720p) has a factory connection to the lead which has a micro USB connector that plugs into the Front Cam. This was detected straight away on boot up and the rear cam is displayed in a windowed image on the display.The instruction manual is detailed and informative, easy enough to follow however the dash cam itself is quite intuitive too. I downloaded the Snooper Drive HD App which allows access to the Dash Cams videos, and allows you to modify the date and time etc. You’ll need to connect to the Dash Cam wirelessly (see manual for password etc)Overall I’ve found this to be really useful, the video quality is superb and it’s easy to download the videos to your smartphone. That being said, I’m a little disappointed that it uses Mini USB and requires the lead to be plugged in – surely in this day and age dash cams should be wireless with a quick charge where necessary!

Well packaged camera kit.Both front and rear facing cameras.Rear camera has a long cable to connect to the front camera which does all the recording. Mounts for both cameras are easy to fit and hold well. Both are adjustable for angle of sight.Front camera controls are clear and settings, of which there’s lots, are clear and easy to understand and alter.All data records on to a memory card and can also be viewed via the app on a phoneGood quality and gives a clear recording.Pics up data from satellites for speed etc.Price is reasonable for the build and function.

Itâs crap!
The rear camera does work but does not record, this is my second one with the same fault. Iâve been In touch with snooper but donât even bother! Disgusting! rude! Arrogant! Vial! Customers services! They donât have a clue about the product or any of its issues. Hours of trying to get this problem sorted but they have no idea what they are doing. Just send it back like me to save hours of getting nowhere.
