Faking It is the perfect party game if youâre looking for non-stop laughter and suspense! We played it with six people, and it was an absolute hit. The concept is simple yet brilliantâsomeone in the group is âfaking it,â and itâs up to everyone else to figure out who. The mix of ridiculous prompts and sneaky bluffing leads to hilarious accusations and some seriously funny moments.
What makes this game shine is how interactive it is. Everyone is fully engaged, trying to read each otherâs expressions and body language while staying on their toes. Itâs a great way to bring people together, break the ice, and create memorable inside jokes.
Itâs easy to learn, quick to set up, and endlessly replayable. Whether youâre with close friends or a mix of people, Faking It guarantees fun for everyone. If you love games that spark conversation and a lot of laughs, this oneâs a must-have!

Even when I ordered in SG, the game still got here fine with minor dents and the contents still fine. I loved how they used the sturdy cardboard sleeves. However, a handful of cards sticked together at the top and when I peeled it off each other, there was some paint that came off of each card.

If you’re looking for a game that is fun, engaging, and something like the online jackbox games, this is the perfect thing. I’ve spent hours playing this game and it keeps you on your toes. I believe this game should be 10+ just for reading and comprehension purposes but it’s a 10/10

Really fun twist on the social deduction style games. Easy enough to understand that my 10 year old nephew can play it as well!

If you have ever played Jackbox’s Fakin’ It (the digital game) you will find that this is probably the best possibly way it could have been conceptualized as a physical game.
Each round, you divy out card holders. All players except the faker will receive a prompt telling them to perform a task, such as pointing at someone or holding numbers up, or give an answer. The faker will either receive nothing or a different prompt depending on which category you are using. Their job is to pretend as best as possible that they are not the faker. Then during the voting round, they must lie and deflect to convince the other players that they are not the faker.
The game is very much a social deduction game in the vain of Warewolf, Chameleon, or Among Us.
Being able to read is a must, so very young kids are out. Even at a reading age, it may be difficult for some kids to understand the faking portion of the game, I’d say it’s probably best suited for 10+ depending on the maturity level of the kids. That said, the game is just as much fun with a table of adults.
There are a large variety of prompts so it would take awhile for the game to get stale. Because of the variety of prompts though, you’ll find some cards make it extremely easy to catch the faker. This is the one downside to the game.
