Not a universal fit
There item looked good in the description and Amazon pictures. In reality you have to check what else is in the vicinity of the seat gap you want to use. In my case there was a handbrake that was to close to the item. That was just an inconvenience. The safety issues I had was that the storage unit covered the female seat belt connection. It meant that I could not use a seat belt as well as the unit. I decided to comply with the law and return the item. I think this would be a problem for most cars.
