really impressed with the quality of this little camera, great as a cam for my mum who has dementia or it could be used for a child or animal. you can turn off the green light so its doesn’t annoy and you can set motion detection, so its good if mums on the move when she shouldn’t be. It does mean I can watch her from home on my mobile the app is easy to use. I will be buying one of the same brand 360 degree moving ones and using two together, they have a big range of cameras and they are great priced.

This is a decent camera with a good quality picture up to 2K. It was pretty easy to set up, though you have to download an app to your phone or tablet. I couldn’t find an option to access it from a PC. It also uses an old style micro-USB connector which is a pain if you want to move it to different locations as you’ll need to take the cable with you every time.
The app itself is rather clunky and a bunch of functionality is only available if you sign up to their cloud service. It does do a decent job of sending an alert if it detects motion in the area you define.
If you don’t subscribe to their cloud storage plan you can still record the video onto an SD card. It’s deeply annoying though that you can’t save your video to local storage as you’re connected to your own Wi-Fi after all. As with so many of these kind of tools they really want to extract money from you month after month.
If you just want an easy to use and simple monitor it’s fine: though no better than a dozen others.

This camera is a great value that offers clarity and great sound for those who want to monitor what goes on in their home and with people/pets important to them. I also like the easy use downloadable app and no contract fees. I highly recommend and it does not take up much space.

WARNING READ THIS BEFORE U BUY! I bought a SD card to use with this camera instead of using their cloud service. U can insert it & format it but itâs pointless. The ONLY way u can watch ur own videos is if u agree to their cloud service. U are allowed to watch live. U get notifications but ur not allowed to watch them. U can NOT see a picture or a clip of ur notification even after u see ur SD card is working. They are forcing u to use their cloud services if u want to have a normal functioning camera. I read about their cloud service after this & u find some weird shocking things they are getting u to agree too. The name of this boykeep says it all. Itâs not meant for u to access to ur own footage unless u agree to use their cloud & agree to their terms. The picture quality isnât the best but it will do. I hope this review helps others. I purchased this to keep an eye on the cats. Im very disappointed & will not be forced to have camera only on their terms. I also might add Ive never seen one with terms like they have. Itâs really kinda creepy & decided everyone should know before they choose this. They are NOT like other camera services. Their number one priority is only to have access. I have to question this because of that. I would never recommend this one to anyone.
