Had done a lot of research into the monitor we wanted when baby no. 2 came along, so that we could use one rather than 2 to see both kids. We wanted split screen (shows both videos at same time rather than just switch between) as well as panning ability on the camera and this model seemed to do the trick, and not break the bank!! Popped into wishlist and then suddenly the set with the screen and two monitors was no longer available and still don’t know why. The newer model doesn’t seem to have split screen (from memory) so I really wanted this one and searched to find the bits separately. The camera portions are larger than you might expect from the pics, but I think means they seem sturdy. The panning ability is great, especially for the 1st who can get out of bed. The lights are all quite orange, but that’s a nice to have feature than one we needed/wanted. The talk back seems good as we’ve chatted to 1st born and she understands us well and is also clear to us. Really like it, so not sure why it’s not as easily available anymore. Seems a shame as the functions and cost were perfect for us!
