The K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat is an affordable heated pet mat with a dual thermostat heater buried beneath soft foam to make a comfortable napping place for cats. The surface temperature of the K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat will remain 10-15 degrees above ambient air temperature when not in use by the pet. The product is designed such that the surface will only warm to full temperature when the pet is on the mat. As a simple test, you may place a pillow on top of the K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat – after about 15 minutes the under-side of the pillow should feel warm, but not hot. If you have an older pet, then this is the best way to show them you love them. It will absolutely improve the quality of their life, especially if you live where you get cold winters. Do your puppy or kitty a favour.

I got this for my elderly little kitty because she doesnât have much body fat any more and I was worried she was cold. She just loves it. I put in on the couch and leave it plugged in for her to sleep on all day. It doesnât get too hot, just a nice warmth kind of like if she was sleeping in the sun

I have several K&H heated beds, but after my cat lost her best friend, she wouldn’t use them. Definitely wasn’t a problem with the beds, so I wanted to stick with the brand. The beds were fairly low in heat, so I wasn’t sure if it would work for winter.
The instructions to test it were easy, and it is soft and squishy, so it feels very safe. The scent that it has initially isn’t that horrible human hearing pad smell, and I think it was some kind of scent to attract her to it. And it is plenty warm, so it should keep her happy all winter.

My cat really likes this thing. I tested it with a pillow like they say to do when you first get it, and it indeed gets warm. This pad has become one of the places my cat sleeps on the most. It does get dirty over time. Good thing the covering can be removed and washed. I haven’t had to do that yet, though. Overall, it’s a really great item, and I recommend it for your cat!

Our cats love these things! We have a very energy inefficient house with a sketchy wall heater we donât like to use when we arenât home. I am glad I purchased two of these because once our cats figured it out, they love it! Itâs easy to use, the removable washable cover is great, it uses little energy, and the price canât be beat!! Only downside is it does seem to incubate fleas, so keep up on your flea meds over the winter if you donât have cats who have been pretty much exclusively indoors for life. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to keep their kitty cozy during the winter season and maybe help them stop hogging the bed so much. (No guarantees on the last bit though, you know cats will do as they please.)
I kinda wish they made a human version for me to put on our couchâ¦!
